I was walking through time square when I captured this. 14 plus years of living in nYc and you learn to stay away from crowds, which is what Time Square is. I'm not a real fan of crowds but on the flip side they do provide a great canvas for you to pick and shoot. So many people from so many different places, with different thoughts and concerns all flowing as one. If any one is lost, you don't know, if any one is scared, you don't really know, all you see is a sea of people mostly happy, mostly content and mostly just excited to be there. You can probably tell the new yorkers from the tourists, the new yorker walks with his or her head down and with purpose trying to cut through the horde.
She was happy, happy for this moment. That made me happy and I hope she remains happy to this day
