Been away from Flickr for several days, but it was for a good reason. Took a trip to NYC, saw some shows, and of course took the camera almost everywhere I went. We mapped it out when we got home and we ended up covering over 30 miles on foot in a 3½ day period. Only once have my feet and legs ever been more tired (and that was hiking the mountains of Shenandoah).
Such a different environment for my usual stuff. I absolutely loved the challenge of shooting in the city. It changes the way you look at things so much compared to scenic outdoor shots I usually look for. Trying to get more urban photos has been a goal of mine and this trip definitely helped get the ball rolling.
