rcwgrey has added a photo to the pool:

so i went on an ill-fated camping trip a couple days ago to the lovely and easily accessible golden ears park. ill-fated not because i couldn't get some decent photography in, but because of the weather. even then, the weather wasn't that bad; rainy but still relatively warm. it was ill-fated because my tent, in all its ancient charm, apparently needs to be re-waterproofed. a mere two-and-a-half hours into my sleep i was awoken by an almost steady stream of chilly water that pelted its way past the tent's rainfly, through the tents wall and straight onto my forehead, through my hair, and right down the back of my neck. "unpleasant" doesn't come close to describing how it felt at that moment.

i toughed it out with an additional wool blanket i keep in my trunk. i still could only manage another 3 hours' sleep, but it was enough to get me home the next day at least.
