AB 7 has added a photo to the pool:
This impressive statue titled "Unconditional Surrender" by J. Seward Johnson is based on a famous Life magazine photo taken in Times Square in New York City on the day the second world war ended. It has been on temporary display in San Diego for the last five years and will soon be removed. It seems a shame because it looks perfectly located at the harbor's edge right next to the USS Midway aircraft carrier.
