Gas pipeline at Crosby beach, Merseyside.
Not long after this shot when the tide was receding, a man decided to steer his boat a little too close to the end (the pipeline continues past the wooden supports) and ended up beaching himself. I didn't have time to stay and watch the lifeboat rescue! Poor fella.
