Pak Hamzah at his 60's still continuing his family tradition producing "kachip". He said that he has been helping his late father producing "kachip" since he was 10. Those days "Kachip" or pincer is an important tool to slice betel nuts. There are different type of "Kachip", some of them are made of brass and some of them are made of iron.
Besides that "Kachip" will be placed near newborn baby all the time to avoid disturbance of bad spirits, others might keep "Kachip" as collectible item.
