This is the combined camp of the United States Christian Commission and the 3rd Minnesota medical field hospital. The Christian Commission is on the left and the hospital is on the right. The two tents that are end to end is used by the U.S. Christian Commission delegate (me), the front tent is the office, and the back tent is the living quarters. The Christian Commission section including the flys is 48 feet long, and the hospital section is 24 feet long. the soldiers that have their little shelter halves were very jealous.
