Bartolomeo Colleoni Monument in Szczecin - equestrian statue ( historic building ), located in Szczecin, a copy of the statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni in Venice
A copy of the monument was to set up in 1913 in Szczecin city museum. Monument was the focal point of the set back most famous works of ancient and Renaissance located in the domed hall (now the headquarters of the Contemporary Theatre ).
Monument survived intact World War II . January 15 1948 was sent to Warsaw . Originally found in the collections of the Warsaw National Museum , then a few years lay in the warehouse of the Polish Army Museum . In the early 60s stood in the courtyard of the Academy of Fine Arts . June 5th 1989 a monument inscribed as a monument.
In early 1992 the authorities of Szczecin have taken action to return the monument to the city. After years of strenuous efforts, in late 2001 the authorities of Warsaw agreed to return the monument.
August 21 2002 Colleoni monument was set to Szczecin Square Aviators .
In May and June 2009 , the condottiere monument underwent a thorough renovation . Colleoni then regained a weapon held in his right hand, the same as the original
