MN Pacific 35014 'Nederland Line' is steam tight and going well with a Weymouth to Waterloo express. In the last months of steam working although the external care of these locos appeared poor, many of them were in good mechanical condition.
The reliability of Bullied Pacifics during this period has rarely been acknowledged. I commuted weekly behind these locos from New Milton to London for 2 years and never experienced a motive power failure or, indeed, major delay.
