After finishing my daily 10-15 mile stationary bike workout, I went into the bathroom to clean up and saw the beads of sweat pouring down my face and thought it might make for an interesting shot. I hand held my D7000 in my left hand with my 35mm f/1.8G & SB-700 Flash attached. I used the built-in Wide panel and bounce card on the flash in center weighted illumination mode to concentrate the light onto just my face. In my right hand I had a small hand mirror to bounce a bit of light into my eyes from the flash. In post, I used the Levels & Curves tool in Capture NX2 to bump the contrast and added a bit of a vignette to finish it off.
